About Fabiola Lindsey
Owner, Fabiola “Chef Fabie” Lindsey was born in Port-Au-Prince, Haiti and is a lifelong culinary student. She has been practically cooking since she was 10 years old, back when she was still learning her way around the kitchen, while helping her mother cook.
Braving a Catering Business Venture
Chef Fabie’s passion for cooking led her to start her own catering business, Simply Fabielous Catering, where she also offers personal chef services. When you hire her and her staff, you can indulge your cravings for flavorful and tasty Hennessy Wings, Mac and Cheese Au Gratin, Chicken Marsala, and Summer Pasta Salad, just to name a few. Cooking Education
At the age of 7, Chef Fabie cooked her first dish, Seafood rice, which became an instant hit. Since then, she never looked back and then decided to attend culinary school just like her mother. By 2015, Chef Fabie received her Associates Degree with High Honors at Le Cordon Bleu Culinary College.
Cooking Career
During her education, Chef Fabie volunteered her time and culinary expertise at different events such as the South Beach Seafood Festival. She also served as a chef assistant for an episode of “Chopped,” an American reality cooking show that was filmed in Miami. She also served awesome dishes at the Boca Food and Wine Festival.
Her culinary experience ranges from preparing seafood stations and making Charcuterie Boards at the Dolphins Stadium to making Shrimp Cocktail Shooters and Goat Cheese Beet Salads at the Waldorf. Chef Fabie’s cooking style is all about blending her Caribbean roots with other cultures, which results in elegant, fun, healthy, and fabulously arranged dishes.
